Member Spotlight: Hannah Holman
This week’s member spotlight features Rittman’s newest Paramedic, Hannah Holman. Hannah grew up in Louisville, OH, and currently resides in Akron, OH with her soon to be husband, Daniel. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Kent State University in Biology with a concentration in molecular and cellular biology. In 2019 she went through Stark State College for her EMT-B certification and finished her paramedic course in 2021. She has worked full time at Akron City Hospital in the Emergency Room for the past 3 years.
Her first shift at Rittman Fire was during the Sleepwalker Festival. Although cut short due to a medical call, she enjoyed being a part of the parade of Emergency Vehicles.
Hannah states the Fire/EMS service is all about helping others and serving your community. “You have to take time for yourself, and relax so you don’t get burnt out.” Rittman is Hannah’s first fire department to work for, and is excited for a different aspect of the medical field.
During her free time, she enjoys baking and spending time with family, friends, and her golden retriever (Chief). Hannah and her fiancé, Daniel, have an upcoming wedding date of August 20th, 2022. They plan on going to Jamaica for their honeymoon!
Hannah and her team members pride themselves on the quality of care they provide for their patients. Join them at Rittman Fire and Rescue!
